Dear Friends and Citizens,

I want to thank you, the citizens of Bolivar County, for the opportunity to serve as your sheriff. We have made some major changes in the Sheriff's Department since taking office in January of 2012, specifically assuring the citizens, of the second largest county in the State of Mississippi, coverage around the clock.

I will ensure that the Sheriff's Department continues to explore proactive ways to prevent crime, and likewise ensure that we will continue to provide effective law enforcement.

MISSION:

A Department multifaceted in exploring preventative ways in combating crime while providing effective law enforcement. We will maintain accountability as we operate efficiently in a professional and courteous manner, in treating the citizens with respect, as we encourage our citizens to assist in the reduction of crime.
